Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account data from Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture.
• Photos you upload to generate a video.
• Generated videos, plus the theme, scene, names and lyrics used. If you use Write with AI, the description you type is sent to our AI provider to write lyrics and is not stored with your account.
• Purchase records: which credit pack you bought, the amount and the order ID. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store them.
• Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep you signed in.
• How you found us: the referring website, campaign tags (UTM parameters), referral code and landing page of your first visit, plus the country your IP address points to when you sign up (country only, not your city or exact location). This is saved with your account so we can tell which channels and regions bring new users.
• Content safety correspondence: your contact details, video or job IDs, explanations and evidence supplied in reports or appeals.

2. Your photos

• Original photos are used to generate the video you requested and, before they are deleted, may be viewed by the service operator next to the finished video to check output quality. Where available and necessary, they are also used to investigate a content safety or rights complaint.
• Original photos are deleted automatically within 24 hours of upload.
• We do not create or store face templates or biometric identifiers.
• We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

3. Your videos

Finished videos are stored in your account so you can watch and download them. Playback and download access is restricted to your signed-in account. The service operator may review finished videos, together with the settings, names and lyrics used, to check output quality and improve the Service, and may access relevant content when investigating a safety report, a rights complaint or a support request. Email us to have your videos deleted.

4. Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run the Service:

• Cloudflare — hosting, database and file storage.
• AI video model provider — runs the ByteDance Seedance video models (Seedance 2.0 Mini, Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5), which generate the video and synchronized audio. Your photos (through short-lived links) and our generated prompt (including optional names and lyrics) are sent to it to create the video.
• AI text model provider — runs a Google Gemini text model that writes lyrics from the description you type in Write with AI and checks lyrics you write or edit.
• Google — sign-in.
• Waffo — payment processing.
• Pageview (Plausible-compatible analytics) — privacy-friendly, cookie-free page statistics.

5. Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in.

We also set one first-party cookie on your first visit that remembers how you found us (see above). It is kept for 90 days, is read only by us when you sign up and is not shared with anyone. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Retention

• Original photos: deleted within 24 hours.
• Videos and account data: kept until you ask us to delete your account.
• Purchase records: kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.
• Content reports and appeals: kept only as needed to investigate the matter, handle follow-up or comply with legal obligations. Original photo deletion is not extended by a report.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or to delete your account, by emailing hi@rapduoai.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (such as the GDPR or CCPA).

8. Children

Rap Duo AI is only for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from or about anyone under 18. If you believe a minor's photo was uploaded, contact us and we will delete it.
