Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Rap Duo AI. By using the Service you confirm that you are an adult and able to enter into these Terms.

2. The Service

Rap Duo AI lets you upload two photos (or one photo of both people) and generates a short AI video in which the people (or animals) in those photos perform a rap with AI-generated music and vocals.

We use ByteDance Seedance video models (Seedance 2.0 Mini, Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5; you choose one for each video), run by a third-party AI model hosting provider, to generate the video, music and synchronized vocals. Lyrics come from our own templates using your selected theme and optional names, or — if you choose Write with AI — are written in English by a Google Gemini text model from your description, and you may edit them. Results vary and may not always resemble the people in your photos.

Rap Duo AI is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ByteDance. Generated performances, music and voices are synthetic, not recordings of the people shown.

3. Photos you upload and consent

By uploading photos you confirm and guarantee that:

• every person shown in the photos is at least 18 years old;
• you are one of the people shown, or you have the explicit permission of every person shown to upload their photo and to create and share a video of them;
• you own the photos or have the right to use them;
• the photos do not show public figures or celebrities without their permission.

4. Acceptable use: content standards and prohibited content

These standards apply to uploaded photos, names and other inputs, generation instructions, and generated images, videos, music and vocals. You must not upload, request, generate, store or share any of the following six categories through the Service:

• Pornographic / NSFW content: pornography, explicit sexual activity, sexualized nudity, sexual exploitation or non-consensual sexual content.
• Violence / gore: graphic injuries, gore, torture, abuse of people or animals, violent threats, or content encouraging or celebrating violence.
• Hate speech: content attacking, dehumanizing, discriminating against or inciting hostility or violence toward people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or similar protected characteristics.
• Child-unsafe content / CSAM: child sexual abuse material, sexualization or exploitation of minors, grooming, or any other content endangering children. Our Service also prohibits all uploaded photos and generated depictions of people under 18, even in non-sexual contexts.
• Deepfakes / impersonation: unauthorized or deceptive use of a real person's face, likeness or identity; non-consensual synthetic sexual content; fraud, political deception, fabricated endorsements, or misleading viewers into believing a person actually said or did something. An authorized entertainment video of consenting adults is permitted only when clearly disclosed as AI-generated and otherwise compliant with these Terms.
• Copyright / trademark infringement: use of photos, recordings, music, lyrics, videos, characters, logos or trademarks without the necessary rights or permission, or outputs that infringe another party's rights.

5. Additional prohibited conduct and zero-tolerance content

Child sexual exploitation, terrorism, instructions for making weapons of mass destruction, incitement to genocide, and non-consensual synthetic sexual content are prohibited without exception. Serious safety reports are prioritized; confirmed illegal content may be removed and reported to the appropriate authorities as required by law.

You must not use the Service for harassment, bullying, defamation, privacy violations, scams or spam; present AI output as a real recording; or attempt to evade safety controls. Your use must comply with applicable law and the rules of any platform where you share a video.

6. Platform content moderation

Our current platform controls use preset scene instructions and hand-written lyric templates, server-side name validation and a prohibited-name blocklist, AI content screening of AI-written lyrics and of any lyrics you write or edit (lyrics that fail it cannot be submitted), and a required confirmation that every person shown is an adult who consented to the video. Rejected names cannot be submitted for generation. These controls reduce misuse but do not independently verify someone's age, consent or ownership of a photo.

Content safety reports are reviewed by the service operator. Review may include the reported video and audio, available inputs, the generation context and evidence supplied by the reporter. We may request additional information, remove stored content or require a user to stop the reported use when a violation is confirmed. Where a report is disputed, we consider the user's explanation and supporting evidence.

Automated name and lyric screening and user consent declarations are not comprehensive photo, video or audio moderation. They do not guarantee that every output complies with these standards. Please report suspected violations through the channel below.

7. Reporting unsafe content or rights violations

Anyone, including a person without an account, can email a content safety report or contact hi@rapduoai.app. Use the subject “Content safety report” for unsafe content, unauthorized likeness use, or copyright and trademark complaints.

Include the video or job ID if known, where you saw the content, a description of the concern, supporting links or evidence, and a reply email. If your own image or rights are involved, explain your connection to the content. You do not need to resend illegal material to make a report.

We assess the report, review the available evidence, take appropriate action and reply with the outcome where possible. Child safety, non-consensual sexual content and credible threats receive priority. We may request more information. Reporter details are handled privately and shared only where necessary to investigate or comply with law; knowingly false or abusive reports are prohibited.

8. Enforcement actions

Depending on the seriousness of the violation and the available evidence, we may reject prohibited inputs, issue a warning, remove stored videos or uploaded photos, require the user to stop a prohibited use, and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities. Serious violations may result in removal without a prior warning.

If generation fails, the credits used are returned automatically. Content removed after delivery for a confirmed policy violation is not automatically eligible for a cash refund; payment questions are handled under our Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

9. Appeals

If you believe a rejection or removal was mistaken, email hi@rapduoai.app with the subject “Content safety appeal”, the video or job ID, an explanation and supporting evidence. The service operator will reconsider the decision using this information and notify you of the outcome. You can use the same channel to follow up on a report.

10. Your videos

You may download and share your videos for personal and social media use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the destination platform. Lyrics come from our templates, our AI lyric writer or your own edits; the model generates music and vocals rather than receiving an existing recorded song. AI generation does not guarantee that output is free of third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing the result and having the permissions needed to share it.

Clearly disclose that the performance, audio and video are AI-generated when sharing. We may remove stored videos that violate these Terms. If a video shows you without permission or infringes your rights, use our reporting channel.

11. Accounts

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

12. Credits and payments

• Videos are paid for with credits. The cost of a video depends on the AI model, quality and length you choose and is shown before you generate; current rates are listed on the Pricing page.
• Credits are sold in packs, are non-transferable, have no cash value and do not expire.
• If a video fails to generate, the credits used are returned to your balance automatically.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
• Prices may change; any change applies only to future purchases.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your photos and data. Original photos are deleted automatically within 24 hours.

14. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI output is unpredictable, and we do not guarantee that any video will meet your expectations, be error-free, or be available at all times.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rap Duo AI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
